What’s new in Fancy Bricks
What each release of the library, the components and the plugin brings, newest first.
Latest release
Fancy Bricks 3.0Two libraries became one
Fancy Bricks 1.0 and 2.0 are now one library, and everything finally works together.
One library instead of two
Fancy Bricks 1.0 had the creative designs and 2.0 had the consistency. 3.0 keeps the designs and the hover effects you liked, inside one system. Near-identical templates were merged, so you find what you need faster.

Questions, answered
Short answers about Fancy Bricks 3.0. Can’t find yours? Write to us.
Do I need a framework?
Yes. Fancy Bricks 3.0 uses your framework’s variables so every template matches your site. Fancy Framework is free and installs in a minute. If you already use Automatic.css 4 or Core, copy the version for yours.
Why did you drop the “no framework needed” approach?
Templates with values set by hand never quite matched each other. Bricks now has native variables, and a free framework solves it for good. You get consistency, and you change your whole site from your variables.
How do I use a template?
Pick your framework and desktop or mobile first, click Copy and paste into Bricks. Classes and components come with it. Full guide
Do I need a plugin?
No. Bricks and a framework are enough. The Fancy Bricks plugin adds extra elements, but no template depends on it.
Can I use the templates on client sites?
Yes, on unlimited sites, yours and your clients’. You can’t resell or share the templates themselves.
