The template also pastes a dashed note above the section, with the short version of this page. It only shows inside the builder, never on the published page — see Builder notes.

How to adjust

Every step is the same move: pick the element in the Structure panel, change its Properties.

Where are those panels?

How to adjust a template shows every one of them in a screenshot of the real builder: the Structure and Properties panels, the classes on an element, a component's style families and the field where a CSS variable goes.

  1. Paste the template in Bricks first — see Copy and paste.
  2. Select Intro (FBK Intro) › Properties: Eyebrow, Hide eyebrow, Title, Title level, Lead, Hide lead · Style group: Eyebrow style, Highlight, Title size, Accent line · Layout group: Alignment, Layout, Background, Spacing · Motion group: Reveal in slider.
  3. Select Plan · Starter, Plan · Pro, Plan · Business (FBK Card) › Properties: Title, Title level, Text, Hide text · Style group: Highlight, Title size, Look, Tone, Shape, Photo overlay, Padding, Photo hover, Background · Layout group: HTML tag, Layout.
  4. Select Price ×3 (FBK Price) › Properties: Currency, Amount, Period, Hide period, Old price, Hide old price, Note, Hide note · Style group: Size, Currency, Alignment.
  5. Select Features ×3 (FBK Check list) › Properties: Style group: Look, Tone, Shape, Size, Background · Layout group: Columns, Lines between rows.
  6. Select Check · 3 projects, Check · 5 GB storage, Check · Custom domain (+13 more) (FBK Check item) › Properties: Text, Included.
  7. Select Button ×3 (FBK Button) › Properties: Text, Link, Tone, Shadow on hover · Icon group: Icon, Icon position · Style group: Style, Size, Width, Hover effect.
  8. Spacing, sizes, color and timing with no property of their own: the CSS variables below.

CSS variables

These are the only values in the template meant to be changed by hand. Copy the block, paste it, edit the numbers.

/* «Plans» · class .fbk-plans */
.fbk-plans {
/* Featured plan: frame color (the badge is the common tag, Solid · Brand) */
--fbk-t-accent: var(--primary);
/* The line between features in the included-features list */
--fbk-t-line: color-mix(in srgb, var(--base-ultra-dark) 12%, var(--white));
--fbk-checks-line: var(--fbk-t-line);
/* Hover fill (class .fbk-plans__plan--fill): the color that fills the card
from the bottom */
--fbk-t-fill: var(--base-ultra-dark);
/* Motion (zero specificity: the reduced-motion rule, which Bricks moves up,
wins) */
--fbk-t-fill-time: var(--fbk-hover);
}

Paste the block in the element's Style → CSS field (the selector is already in it), or set the same variables on the class itself to change every copy at once. The values are your framework's variables, so they follow your site: Choosing a framework.

Finish by hand

  • Each plan is an FBK Card (padding L) inside a list item: the price, the feature list and the note sit in its content slot, the button in its actions slot.
  • Only the featured plan has the primary button; the others use Outline with the Neutral tone.
  • The badge is the common Fancy Bricks tag (classes fbk-ui, fbk-ui__box, fbk-chip and fbk-ui--solid): add fbk-ui--round for a pill or swap --solid for --soft or --outline.
  • The price is an FBK Price and the features an FBK Check list (size S, lines between rows) with one FBK Check item per feature: change the look or tone of the marks in the list's properties; duplicate an item to add a feature.
  • To feature another plan, move the Badge into it and give it the class .fbk-plans__plan--featured (remove both from the old one). The frame is in the Custom CSS of that class (Style > CSS): %root% > .fbk-card. Its color is --fbk-t-accent on .fbk-plans.
  • Hover fill: the class .fbk-plans__plan--fill on each plan (the list item around the card); remove it to turn the animation off and keep the card still. Everything is in its Custom CSS (Style > CSS): %root% > .fbk-card::after is the bar at the foot, %root% > .fbk-card::before the fill that grows from the bottom, and %root%:hover / %root%:focus-within > .fbk-card switch the card to the dark colors. The fill color and time are --fbk-t-fill and --fbk-t-fill-time on .fbk-plans.
  • The thin line between features is --fbk-t-line on .fbk-plans.
  • The cards of a row share one height: the feature list grows, so notes and buttons line up at the foot.

On phones

The template is designed desktop first, the Bricks default, and only changes at the two widths the library uses:

  • 991px and below — .fbk-plans, .fbk-intro.
  • 767px and below — .fbk-checks, .fbk-price, .fbk-section.

Those changes live in Bricks' own breakpoint fields, so you edit them where you always do: pick the breakpoint in the toolbar and the same fields follow.

Careful with the classes shared by the whole library (fbk-section, fbk-intro, the component classes): a change there shows up in every template that uses them.

If your site's breakpoints are set up mobile first, copy the mobile-first variant of the template instead — see Copy and paste.

Accessibility

In this template, keyboard focus is visible on every interactive piece; movement is cut back when the visitor's system asks for less motion; the state screen readers need is already set (aria-hidden).

What is checked on every template, and what depends on your own palette: Accessibility.

Dark mode

With your site in dark mode this section turns dark too — the class fbk-section--auto-dark on the section does it. Remove the class to keep it light.

Its background is a modifier on the section, so you can swap it for any of the ones the template is checked with: fbk-section--soft, fbk-section--light, fbk-section--dark.

How the library follows your site's color scheme: Dark mode and preview.
